CJ’s Canine Country Club stands apart because our highly trained and dedicated staff.
We place a strong emphasis on continuing education to ensure the best care for your pets.
All of our pack leaders are trained in dog language, group play, dog evaluations, and pet first aid and CPR. In addition, our team participates in ongoing education covering topics such as behavior management, vaccines and illnesses, basic obedience, and more—so your dog is always in knowledgeable, capable hands.

Tina Sawyer
MANAGER
Hi, I’m Tina, the Manager at CJ’s. I joined the team in February 2020 and became Manager in summer 2023. I’m originally from England and have two rescue pups, Zeke and Annie. I love getting to know our clients and their dogs, working with our amazing staff, and spending my free time with my grandchildren, my pups, or volunteering with
rescues.
At CJ’s, every dog is welcomed like family. We focus on creating a stress-free, fun experience where pups gain confidence and excitement with every visit—whether they’re here for lodging, daycare, grooming, or training.
Alexa Chester
MANAGER / PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER
After losing my father and best friend years ago, my dog Stormy changed my life and inspired me to become a dog trainer, with the goal of training helper dogs like her. I’ve since graduated from CATCH Canine Trainers Academy’s Master Program, am a Fear Free Certified Professional,
as well as a certified service dog trainer!
My training focuses on positive reinforcement and helping dogs succeed in fun, rewarding ways. I also work in the daycare pack and love learning canine communication alongside my dogs, Boba, Aurra and Olive. I’m always happy to talk dogs and training—feel free to stop me anytime!
Annalee Phillips
GROOMING MANAGER
Hi, I’m Annalee! I started at CJ’s in 2019 as a pack leader and later trained as a groomer. I’m now an established groomer here and have three dogs of my own—Cooper, Essie Clair, and Quinton.
I love working with our pups and their parents, whether it’s pampering dogs during grooming or enjoying group and individual play as a pack leader. Making each pup feel special is my favorite part of the job!
Kiara Bauer
GROOMER
Hello, I'm Kiara! I started in 2024 as a Pack Leader and worked my way up to becoming a Deluxe Groomer. I have so much fun in these roles!
As a Pack Leader, I enjoy watching the dogs play with their friends and getting to see each of their individualities shine!
As a Groomer, nothing makes me happier than having a dog leave with fur so soft, smelling amazing, and a smile so big!
